Afghanistan: The Taliban, the terrorist organization that captured the power of Afghanistan, has issued an order to close all the beauty parlors in the country. Women running beauty parlors have been given one month’s time. However, the reason for this restriction is not given.
Taliban captured entire Afghanistan including Kabul on 15 August 2021. Since then, it has taken away all the rights related to education and jobs of girls and women.
The Taliban’s interior ministry has confirmed the order banning beauty parlors. There are thousands of beauty parlors in Afghanistan. They are owned only by women. With this order, the employment of these women will be snatched away. Most parlors were run by housewives and there was a strict ban on the entry of any male.
Surprisingly, the Taliban government has not yet given the reason for the decision to close the beauty parlor. When the news agency questioned this, it was said on behalf of the Taliban – let a month pass, then the reason will be told.
For 20 years there were thousands of beauty parlors in Afghanistan. The Taliban had then said several times that these parlors were used for idle talk and gossip.
After the Taliban’s decision, the manager of a beauty parlor in Kabul said – it would have been better if the Taliban had expelled the women from Afghanistan. His existence would have ended. Now death is good. It would have been better if we had not taken birth in Afghanistan.
