Researchers have confirmed that planets exist in space outside the solar system. The research team of the University of Georgia has evidence of this. He took the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to detect this exoplanet.
Interestingly, it took only one hour for the AI to find this exoplanet. This planet is orbiting a star named HD 142666. By looking at the protoplanetary disk, the AI can accurately determine whether there is an exoplanet around it, the researchers said.
Researcher Jason Terry said- We came to know through traditional techniques that planets exist apart from the Solar System, but with the help of AI, we were able to find out where the exoplanet actually is.
According to Terry, several photographs of the disc were taken. In this, a part of the disc was highlighted, and the AI model told the presence of the planet at this place.
Researcher Cassandra Hall said- With the help of AI, we came to know many such things, which were not noticed before. This is an example of how AI can help scientists increase the accuracy of analysis and reduce time.
