Bollywood: Earlier this year, Shah Rukh Khan broke all box office records with the blockbuster ‘Pathan’. Now in the second half of the year, they are coming with ‘Jawan’. At the same time, by the end of this year, his film ‘Danki’ can also be released. It is heard that the non-theatrical rights of these two upcoming films of Shahrukh have been sold for Rs 480 crore.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Shah Rukh has created a record by selling the non-theatrical rights of both these films for Rs 480 crore. The deal has been done for the satellite, digital and music rights of the film. While the rights of ‘Jawan’ were sold for 250 crores, the rights of ‘Danky’ were sold for 230 crores.
At the same time, it has been said in the report that there is only a nominal difference between the two films, and the reason for this is ‘Jawan’ being dubbed in Tamil and Telugu.
While the rights of ‘Jawaan’ have been sold in all languages, the rights of ‘Danky’ have been sold only in Hindi. Some other non-theatrical deals related to the film are also under discussion.
