Afghanistan: Taliban rule is going on in Afghanistan. The women of Afghanistan are being tortured the most under the rule of the Taliban, which runs on Sharia law. In a crackdown on women’s freedom, the Taliban has issued an order on female aid workers in Kandahar province. According to the order, women from Kandahar province will no longer be able to work on refugee projects.
A letter released by the ministry dealing with refugees in Afghanistan said several agencies helping refugees violated government laws in Spin Boldak, a town near the border with Pakistan.
According to a statement released by the Taliban, all establishments in Spin Boldak that are working with the Refugee and Repatriation Department should inform their female employees not to come to work. A spokeswoman for the United Nations Humanitarian Center said the organization was aware of the directive.
There are many non-governmental literary groups working to help women refugees in Afghanistan, these organizations also have women staff. Restrictions on the working of women employees are also in violation of United Nations Charter principles.
According to a letter issued by Haibatullah Akhundzada, the supreme spiritual leader present in Kandahar, he was told that women employees cannot go to work until further notice.
The Norwegian Refugee Council, an international NGO, said in May that the organization had been granted permission to operate in Afghanistan. However, the Taliban has once again decided to stop the work of women in Afghanistan. This decision is being criticized all over the world.
