China: After causing havoc in Taiwan and the Philippines, Typhoon Doxuri has reached China. Due to heavy rain and wind, trees have been uprooted in many places in China, and power lines have been cut. Even the roof of a stadium has been uprooted. Typhoon Doxuri is the second major typhoon to hit the coast of China after 2016.
To save people from the effects of this storm, China has given instructions to keep schools, offices, and shops closed in many places. So far 7 lakh 24 thousand people have been affected by Doksuri.

Typhoon Doxuri has injured 39 people in China’s port city of Fujian alone. There is no electricity in 5 lakh houses. At the same time, people have not gone to their work at a place named Xiamen. A young man named Zhuang, who lives there, told Reuters that the streets in the area were deserted. All the factories and malls have been closed.
Water connection has also been cut in many areas. China has deployed 300 vehicles along with 3,000 soldiers of the People’s Liberation Army for relief operations. This level is the most serious in the alert system.
