The air of New York City of America has become more polluted than that of Delhi due to the smoke from the fire in the forests of Canada.
Visibility was reduced significantly due to the blanket of mist over the city. The famous New York skyline, visible from miles away, was not visible even from a short distance away.
Along with New York, its effect is also being seen in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In view of the seriousness of the situation, outdoor activities in the school as well as sports activities related to the city have been canceled in the cities along the east coast of America.
Air traffic has also been affected. About 115 million people have been affected by the smoke of the fire. In America, about nine crore people in 16 states have been affected. Most of the smoke is coming from Quebec.
The Canadian government has sought help from other countries to control the fire. An alert has been issued by the American National Weather Service regarding this. Health officials are urging people from Vermont to South Carolina and from Ohio to Kansas to stay home as much as possible.
