Israel: The health of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suddenly worsened on Saturday, after which he has been admitted to the hospital.
However, his office said that PM Netanyahu’s condition is stable and doctors are examining him. According to the information given by the office, he is being treated at Sheba Hospital near Tel Aviv, the coastal city of Israel.
The AP news agency quoted the leading Israeli news site Walla as saying that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has fainted at home. However, he regained consciousness during treatment.
Another site quoted hospital officials as saying that Netanyahu was conscious and walking on his own. However, AP has not confirmed this report.
Netanyahu, 73, is Israel’s longest-serving leader. He has served several terms in this office for 15 years. Netanyahu’s health is generally said to be good. However, in October last year, he was briefly hospitalized after feeling unwell during a prayer.
