UAE-India: PM Modi arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Saturday after a two-day visit to France. He was warmly received at the Abu Dhabi airport by Crown Prince Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
This was followed by bilateral talks between PM Modi and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and UAE President. Apart from this, many agreements were signed between the two countries.
PM Modi informed about the meeting of the two leaders by tweeting. “Both countries are working hard in many fields to make the world a better place. I thank His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the warm welcome extended to me in the UAE,” wrote PM Modi.

There was also an important agreement between the two countries regarding the education sector. IIT Delhi’s campus will now open in Abu Dhabi as well.
The Union Ministry of Education and the Department of Education, Abu Dhabi on Saturday signed an MoU for setting up the IIT Delhi campus in Abu Dhabi. Educationist, former dean of IIT Delhi, has been made coordinator of IIT Abu Dhabi.
