Asad Ahmed, son of Atiq Ahmed, the main accused in the Umesh Pal murder case, has been killed by the UP STF in Jhansi. Ghulam was also killed along with Asad in an encounter with the UP police.
Regarding this matter, former UP DGP Vikram Singh told that about 40 rounds of firing were done with automatic weapons. Along with this, information was also given on the issue of Police Rights and Human Rights Commission.
On the other hand, Umesh Pal’s family heaved a sigh of relief after the encounter. Umesh Pal’s mother said that he (Asad) was father’s accomplice and he has been punished. There is delay in the Yogi government, there is no darkness.
Report will be sent to Human Rights Commission
Former DGP Vikram Singh said that after every encounter, a magisterial inquiry is conducted, then the report is sent to the Human Rights Commission. If there is any disturbance in the encounter, action is also taken. However, he said such a mistake is not possible in a broad daylight encounter. UP STF is an efficient force, which is not justified to doubt. After this encounter, a big message has been sent to the underworld and the mafia.
CM Yogi praised the encounter
CM Yogi Adityanath has praised the UP STF and the police team on the encounter of Atiq Ahmed’s son Asad. Along with this, the CM has also called a meeting regarding law and order. Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf have been sent to judicial custody from Prayagraj Court.
