Rahul Gandhi’s reply
Rahul’s reply came when a woman in the audience asked, “I have a very bad feeling about the situation in my country.” My father was in RSS and he was proud of it but now he does not recognize this country. How can we, who are outside our country, connect with our democracy and strengthen it?’ Rahul’s statements are being criticized a lot in India.
The video of this conversation has been shared by Rahul Gandhi on Twitter. In the video, a woman tells Rahul, ‘My name is Malini Mehra. There are more than two crore overseas Indians in the world. As an Indian citizen I have a question for you. I am very sad about the condition of my country. My father was in the RSS and was proud of it. But today he does not recognize that country. How can we contribute for those people who are living outside India? How can we make our democracy stronger?’

In response to this, Rahul said- Thank you!
In response, Rahul says, ‘When you express yourself about your father being in the RSS and not recognizing your country today, that in itself is a big deal. When I say this, people may feel that it is biased. But when you say no, it has a completely different effect. I believe you defend people by telling them what values you stand for. You are doing a great service to the country by telling the whole world that India needs to bring back those values. so thank you.’
BJP leader raging on Rahul Gandhi
BJP leaders are criticizing this video of Rahul a lot. Speaking to News18, BJP leader Amit Malviya said, ‘Rahul Gandhi has been criticizing India and Indian institutions as they do not support his kind of politics, his ideologies and his personality.
Rahul Gandhi has to realize that he has been rejected by the people of this country and cannot be angry at not electing him. Amit said, ‘Rahul has to realize that it is not his right to be the Prime Minister of India. He has to understand that people do not see any quality in him as a person or a politician.
