Ever since the release of ‘The Kerala Story’, the atmosphere has heated up across the country. Some have objected to the content of the film while some have openly come in support of the film.
After Kangana Ranaut, now this film by Adah Sharma has also got the support of director Vivek Agnihotri. The director of ‘The Kashmir Files’ congratulated the team of ‘The Kerala Story’ for their work and also warned that they are going to get a lot of hate.
Vivek Agnihotri addressed the fans from his Twitter account and told what he has heard about cinema in all these years. Vivek Agnihotri wrote, “I grew up hearing great filmmakers and cinema critics say that the only purpose of art is to provoke people to question their own beliefs and prejudices.”

The filmmaker further revealed how he was attacked for making films like The Kashmir Files and said, ‘It is not easy to make this kind of cinema in India. I have seen it during ‘Buddha in a Traffic Jam’, ‘The Tashkent Files’, and ‘The Kashmir Files’. I have been physically, professionally, socially, and psychologically assaulted.
