For the first time after the Russian attack, a Ukrainian minister is visiting India. It is being said that Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Minister Emin Zhaparova is visiting India next week.
Ukraine’s minister Imine is coming to India at a time when India’s trade with Moscow has continuously reached new heights. It is believed that during this time Imine will present her side on the ongoing war with Russia. India has adopted a neutral stand in this war that has been going on for more than a year.
Pakistan is earning money by exporting weapons to Ukraine on a large scale, on which India is keeping a close watch. India has repeatedly emphasized that peace and dialogue is the way forward. The Ukrainian minister will participate in the event along with two leading think tanks of India.
India has been providing humanitarian assistance to Ukraine since last year. So far 10 consignments of relief material have been sent. This aid has many essential medicines and medical equipment.

Ukraine recalled its ambassador last year and so far no new ambassador has been appointed. PM Modi had a telephonic conversation with the President of Ukraine. Meanwhile, India’s enemy Pakistan is earning huge money by providing arms and ammunition to Ukraine through western countries. India is keeping a close eye on this whole development.
India and Russia have entered into a long term energy pact. That too when the trade between the two countries has crossed $40 billion. Not only this, several meetings have been held in the last two weeks to further increase this business. The President of Russia has emphasized on strengthening relations with India in his new foreign policy.
