The work on the proposed Ramayana Circuit between India and Nepal will be expedited. This decision was taken after meeting Prime Minister of Nepal Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and PM Narendra Modi who reached India.
After the conversation, PM Modi said- The work of the Ramayana circuit between the two countries will be completed expeditiously.
The Prime Minister said – I and PM Prachanda have taken many important decisions to make the Nepal-India partnership from hit to superhit.
Apart from this, both leaders also discussed the Neighborhood First Policy between India and Nepal. During this, issues like hydropower development, agriculture, and connectivity were discussed.
Nepal’s PM Prachanda said in the press conference – I had a discussion with Modi ji regarding the border dispute. I appeal to them that this matter should be resolved through bilateral talks. At the same time, PM Prachanda invited Prime Minister Modi to visit Nepal. There was a meeting between the two leaders at Hyderabad House.
Earlier on Thursday, PM Prachanda reached Rajghat and paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. Prachanda will also meet President Draupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar in the afternoon. This is Prachanda’s fourth visit to India as the Prime Minister of Nepal. He reached India around 3 pm on Wednesday.
