Hong Kong: According to the World Health Organization (WHO), tobacco kills seven million people worldwide every year. Of these, about 20 lakh people die due to heart disease. However, cigarette smokers are present in every corner of the world. Cigarettes not only make the smoker its victim, but it also affects the health of the people to whom cigarette smoke reaches.
The Hong Kong government has launched an interesting campaign to wean the public from cigarette addiction. The government has urged Hong Kongers not to stare or look down on anyone who smokes in public. Staring at people who smoke cigarettes, they will know that their work is absolutely wrong.
Hong Kong’s health secretary, Professor Lo, told a meeting of the Legislative Council’s health service panel on Friday that smokers could not react if everyone stared at them. Staring at cigarette smokers will promote a non-smoking culture in society.

Lo further said that cigarettes can harm the health of all of us. He further said, if someone is seen smoking in a restaurant, people will stare at him and look at him with disdain. I don’t think people who smoke cigarettes can do you any harm. Because you are just staring at them.
The Hong Kong administration promised to strengthen legal measures to combat smoking. The administration has sought cooperation from the public in this matter.
