The fourth Test match of the Border-Gavaskar series between India and Australia kicked off on Thursday in Ahmedabad. However, before the match began, the Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, and Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, visited the stadium and toured it in a special golf car. This move has resulted in political rhetoric from both sides, with the BJP calling it a cricket world of the government, while the Congress leader Jairam Ramesh accused the Prime Minister of narcissism.

Furthermore, BJP’s cell chief Amit Malviya shared a picture of the program and criticized it as ‘cricket jumping’. The two leaders also met with cricket players and were present in the stadium until the national anthems of both the countries were played. They also visited the Hall of Fame Museum in the stadium.
On Wednesday evening, Albanese arrived in Manhara, where he participated in various programs. He also visited Sabarmati stranger and informed that his government and the Indian Government are working together on the Australia-India Education Qualification Recognition Mechanism. In addition, Deakin University of Australia is opening a branch campus in the Gift City being built in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
The increasing problem with China has led to accurate information sharing between India and Australia, and the organization of both countries is also a part of this. While the two prime ministers’ visit to the stadium was meant to be a friendly gesture, it has now been politicized by both parties, with criticisms and accusations being thrown around.
