Shiromani Akali Dal patriarch and former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal passed away on Tuesday. He was running ill for a long time. His treatment was going on in Mohali. Prakash Singh Bad breathed his last on Tuesday. This information was given by the PA of his son and party president Sukhbir Singh Badal.
Parkash Singh Badal (95) was admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali a week back after he complained of breathlessness. Parkash Singh Badal was born on 8 December 1927 in Sri Mukhtar Sahib.
Prakash Singh had been the Chief Minister of Punjab five times. He also served as the Union Agriculture Minister. Parkash Singh Badal was awarded the Padma Vibhushan on 30 March 2015.
