Manipur: Bollywood celebrities have expressed grief over the thrashing of two women naked on the road by a mob in Manipur. On May 4, two women aged 20 and 40 were paraded naked on the road in Kangpokpi district, about 35 km from Imphal, the capital of Manipur. Its video went viral on social media on Wednesday.
After the video of this incident went viral, the Supreme Court said that it is giving time to the government to take action. If no action is taken then we will take action.

At the same time, PM Modi said in Parliament that this is an insult to the whole country.
Shaken, disgusted to see the video of violence against women in Manipur. I hope the culprits get such a harsh punishment that no one ever thinks of doing a horrifying thing like this again.

Richa Chadha also shared the news clip of this incident in Manipur and wrote – It is very shameful and scary for this to happen. At the same time, Renuka Shahane tweeted – When will the atrocities happening in Manipur stop? Is there no end to this? If your mind did not tremble even after seeing the atrocities on these two women, then it is a far cry to call yourself Indian or Hindustani, are you even worthy of being called a human being?
At the same time, actor-comedian Vir Das has questioned the silence of politicians on this incident. Vir Das has said that political leaders must have come to know about this incident even before this video went viral on social media. But he hasn’t done anything yet. When such things go viral on Twitter, everyone makes a difference. People only care about online outrage, not the lives of common people.
Vir Das further wrote – You read the statement of every leader of Manipur on this incident, watch it on TV, listen to their words, and then think that even when this incident took place in May, these people were fully aware of it.
But then no one did anything.
