America: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the diaspora at the Ronald Reagan Center on the last day of his US tour. He said, ‘Here I can see people from every corner of India. During this people raised slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Vande Mataram. This was followed by award-winning international singer Mary Milben singing the national anthem of India ‘Jana Gana Mana…’. After this Milben touched the feet of the PM.
PM Modi said that now the renewal of H-1B visas will be done in America only. You do not need to go out for this. The PM said, ‘Like a sweet dish is available after a meal, similarly talking to you was a sweet dish that I am going to eat.’ PM Modi said that in the last 3 days, I talked to Joe Biden on many issues. Earlier on Friday afternoon, a state luncheon was organized for Modi in America. It was hosted by Vice President Kamala Harris. The luncheon was attended by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, various State Department officials, and several guests from India such as Anand Mahindra, Mukesh Ambani, and Sundar Pichai.
Dishes like samosa, khichdi, masala tea, and mango pudding were served for PM Modi at the state lunch. It has been prepared by a chef of Indian origin.
