A group of Sikhs on Monday protested outside the British High Commission in London over the desecration of the Indian flag by Khalistan supporters. He demanded the concerned authorities to take action against the accused and ensure proper security for the Indian Embassy in the United Kingdom.
Hundreds of people from the British community registered their displeasure against the pro-Khalistan protests in front of the British High Commission in London. The Sikh community was raising slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’ during the protest. At the same time, a protester said, ‘We condemn the actions of Khalistan and we (Sikh community) ‘love India’.
Sharing the video of the protest, BJP leader Majinder Singh Sirsa said that we condemn the attempt to pull down the Indian flag on the embassy in the United Kingdom. The people involved in such incidents do not represent Sikh sentiments at all.
