The Taliban government of Afghanistan wants all the countries of the world to recognize it. Qatar’s Prime Minister Mohammad Bin Thani went to Afghanistan’s Kandahar on 12 May for talks in this regard.
Thani had a secret meeting with Hebutullah Akhundzada, the supreme leader of the Afghan Taliban, in Kandahar. Its information came to light on Wednesday.
According to a report, Thani clearly told Akhundzada that if he wanted the world to recognize the Taliban regime and the Afghan government, he would have to give women their rights. The talk got stuck on this issue.
The Taliban wants to make women second-class citizens. Young men and boys especially want to dominate and women want to be objects of use at home and at work.
Due to the restrictions, thousands of families have gone to neighboring countries like Pakistan, Iran, and Turkey with women. Pakistan tops the list of countries where a large number of Afghan refugees have arrived in recent months. Most of the students are now studying in Pakistan.
