Kartar Public School (KPS), located in Kathua, organized the Prerna 2023 Annual Prize Distribution Function on Wednesday, 22-02-2023, in order to appreciate and reward the students for their hard work and achievements during the previous academic session. The event aimed to boost the morale of the students by recognizing and appreciating their sincere efforts in both scholastic and co-scholastic domains.
The function commenced with the presentation of bouquets, followed by Saraswati Vandana and a welcome speech by the Principal of KPS, Mrs. Harpreet Kaur. Prizes, trophies, and certificates were awarded to deserving students in various categories such as academic excellence, best speaker, emerging artist, co-curricular excellence, most meritorious student, and regularity and punctuality. The students were also felicitated for their outstanding achievements in Sahodhya’s Inter School Competition and Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023.
The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Shivdeep Singh, SSP Kathua, and the Special Guest was Dr. Arvinder Singh, Additional Secretary, Cultural Academy JKUT. The Chairman of Management, Nirmaljit Singh, and other dignitaries including the Vice Principal, Mrs. Neeraj Thakur, and the Administrative Officer, Mr. Upinder Singh, were also present to felicitate the students.
The event was a proud moment not only for the award winners but also for their parents, who were invited to share in the glory of their child’s success. The program concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Ms. Daman.
