A 45-year-old engineer from Andhra Pradesh had to go to jail in Saudi Arabia just because he had made a swastika on the gate of his house.
Actually, the neighbor mistook the mark as Hitler’s Nazi mark, after which he complained to the police and the police arrested the Indian man. Now, after explaining, the police understood that this mark is Swastik, not a Nazi mark, but due to Saturday and Sunday being holidays, the Indian engineer would unnecessarily have to spend two days in jail.
An engineer from Guntur in Andhra Pradesh has been working in Saudi Arabia for more than a year. About 15-20 days ago, the engineer had also called his family to Saudi Arabia.
Due to their religious beliefs, the family members made a swastika mark on the gate of their flat. His neighbor, a local Arab man mistook it for Nazi symbols of Hitler. After this, the local person complained to the police and said that his life is in danger.
Acting on the complaint, the police arrested the engineer from Andhra. The engineer tried to explain a lot that it was not a Nazi symbol but a sacred symbol of Hinduism but the police officers did not agree and the chemical engineer put the Indian man in jail.
Explain that the Nazi symbol is black in color and there is a white circle around it. The trail itself is slightly inclined at a 45-degree angle. On the other hand, the swastika symbol is square and slightly curved at the edges and forms a circular shape. Swastik is made in all auspicious works in Hinduism. Whereas the Nazi symbol is considered a symbol of hatred and genocide.
