Hey everyone, I’m Rajkumar Maurya. I am from a very small village Shahupuri, Chandauli. I am from a middle class family. I live with my mom and dad and I have a younger sister. It is a privilege to have such an encouraging family. So, I am a student of class 11th. Recently I have passed my high school education.
Every person wants to live a luxurious life. In today’s era who does not want name and fame and for this I always wanted to do something innovative and sometimes my eyes used to get stuck on beautiful models. I always tell myself, ‘I wish I could be like him’. Modeling has always fascinated me as they live a king size life. And one day a miracle happened. I can call that day as my ‘life changing point’. Coincidentally I met a person on Instagram and slowly we became friends and I expressed my desire to him about modeling and my expectations from myself.

He asked me to give a try at Mr. North India audition and he gave me all the necessary information about the process. I followed the same and made an attempt, and guess what? I got selected in the audition and got a golden opportunity to represent myself in the finals. During this, I worked hard on myself and finally that ‘life changing day’ arrived. I never considered myself a winner, there were too many participants. I just focused on giving my best and that’s what I did.
My hard work pays off. After the final results, the judges (Sahil Khan and Shalini Gupta) announced my name as the winner of Mr. North India Popular. I was felicitated by the honorable judges and it was indeed a ‘dream come true’ moment for me. In conclusion, I would like to say that we should follow our passion at least once. Who knows which moment may prove to be our ‘life changing point’. If he is right then parents should also encourage their child to do the same. After all, parents are the source of inspiration for their child.
