America: In the United Nations Security Council, India has released the audio of Sajid Mir, the wanted terrorist of Lashkar in the 26/11 attack. In this, he is giving instructions to the Pakistani terrorists involved in the Mumbai attack. America had proposed to declare Sajid Mir as a global terrorist in the council meeting yesterday i.e. on 20th June. India was its co-proposer.
China blocked a resolution moved by the US and India at a meeting of the UN Council’s 1267 Committee (Committee on Sanctions on Al-Qaeda and Taliban). On Wednesday, Joint Secretary of India’s Ministry of External Affairs, Prakash Gupta narrated the audio of the terrorist in the United Nations Assembly keeping India’s side on this.
The UNSC meeting was held on 28 October 2022 at the Taj Hotel in Mumbai. The then Foreign Minister Dr. S. Another audio clip of Sajid Mir was played in Jaishankar’s presence. In this, he was telling the terrorists on the phone – wherever there is movement, wherever there are people, do firing.

Pakistan had declared Sajid Mir dead to throw dust in the eyes of the world. His DNA test was also done, but later it was found that he is alive. Pakistan had arrested him under international pressure. In June, a Pakistani court sentenced him to 15 years in prison for funding terrorists.
On the night of 26 November 2008, 10 Pakistani Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists attacked four locations in Mumbai – two 5-star hotels at Nariman House, the railway station, and a Jewish religious place (Chabad House). India was successful in controlling this attack in 4 days. More than 160 people were killed in this attack, out of which 26 were foreigners.
The Mumbai Police had arrested a terrorist named Ajmal Kasab. The remaining 9 terrorists were killed. Kasab was hanged on 11 November 2012 at Yerwada Jail in Pune.
