Residents of Sikar’s Kanwat town will have an opportunity to donate blood and save lives at a blood donation camp to be held on Sunday, March 26, at the Government Community Health Center with the support of nearby gram panchayats. This camp is being organized for the eighth time, and it aims to collect as much blood as possible to help those in need.
Efforts to Encourage Blood Donation
To motivate people to donate blood, workers will be encouraged through rangolis that will be drawn at the main bus stand of the town on March 25 at 5 pm, a day before the blood donation camp. This initiative will create awareness about the importance of blood donation, especially during the pandemic, and help dispel any myths and misconceptions surrounding the process.
Collaboration with Hospitals
The blood collection will be done by a team of SMS Hospital and Santokba Durlabhji Hospital, Jaipur, who will ensure that the process is safe and hygienic. The donors will also receive rewards as a token of appreciation for their valuable contribution to society.
