Bangladesh-India: The Bangladesh government has approved four routes to transport goods for traders in Tripura and other northeastern Indian states.
The four routes are Chittagong Port-Akhaura-Agartala,

Tripura Industries and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma told a press conference that Bangladesh and India have agreed to allow it. Traders ship products through the ports of Chittagong and Mongla.
India and Bangladesh have signed an agreement allowing Indian merchants to use Chittagong and Mongla ports in Bangladesh for the transportation of goods.
Bangladesh, India, and Japan participated in a trilateral conference in the northeastern state of Tripura in April this year. The event was organized by the Asian Influence Center for Northeast India Research. According to the results of the survey, Bangladesh and India should cooperate to promote trade.
