On Saturday morning, the delegation of the unemployed union held talks with CM Pushkar Singh Dhami. CM said that the conversation was positive. He said that our government is committed to conduct fair, cheating-free and transparent examinations. The country’s most stringent anti-copying law has come into force in the state of Uttarakhand. All preparations have been completed to conduct the Patwari/Lekhpal recruitment exam peacefully, fair and without cheating. Raj Bhavan has taken this step within 24 hours.

Life imprisonment with fine up to Rs 10 crore
Now paper leak, cheating or using unfair means in recruitment examinations can lead to life imprisonment and a fine of up to Rs 10 crore. Not only this, there will be no bail and the property of the culprits will be attached. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami recently sent an anti-copying ordinance to the Raj Bhavan, assuring strict action against students angered by repeated malpractices in recruitment examinations. On Friday, the Chief Minister also said that the recruitment examinations to be held now will be under this ordinance.
If a candidate is found indulging in unfair means in any competitive examination either by self-copying or by getting other candidates to copy, then a minimum fine of five lakh rupees as well as imprisonment of three years has been provided. If that candidate is found guilty again in the second competitive examination, then a provision has been made for imprisonment of minimum ten years and fine of minimum 10 lakhs.
The Chief Minister said that we want to tell our students, sons and daughters that all examinations will be transparent. Don’t go by any rumour, focus on exam preparation. All examinations will be conducted in a fair and impartial manner. CM said that the land of some political parties has slipped in the country and Uttarakhand. They are doing such work by keeping guns on the shoulders of the students. They came as students and proceeded to make the movement violent. This is unfortunate. In relation to such people who came without any reason, the administration will see who these people are.
