Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, along with Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, kickstarted the Tiranga Yatra from Jaipur’s Sanganeri Gate on Monday. The yatra aimed to connect with the people of Rajasthan and spread the message of positive politics, education, and healthcare.
Kejriwal’s Address to the Media
While addressing the media outside Jaipur airport, Kejriwal raised concerns about the misbehavior faced by actresses in the entertainment industry. He also highlighted the need to provide employment opportunities to the families of martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for the country. Kejriwal announced that the Delhi government would offer one crore rupees to the families of the martyrs in the national capital.
Tiranga Yatra Takes Over Jaipur
The Tiranga Yatra commenced from Sanganeri Gate and passed through Bapu Bazar, New Gate, Nehru Bazar, and Ajmeri Gate. The yatra drew a massive crowd of AAP supporters and workers who were enthusiastic about building a better Rajasthan. The rally culminated in a public meeting at Ajmeri Gate, where party leaders addressed the crowd and made important announcements.
AAP’s Plan for Rajasthan Elections
AAP’s Rajasthan in-charge Vinay Mishra alleged that there is collusion between the Congress and BJP parties, and wherever they see a threat from AAP, they unite. He also expressed confidence that the people of Rajasthan have understood this game and will support the Aam Aadmi Party in the upcoming elections.
AAP has set its sights on contesting the Rajasthan assembly elections on all 200 seats. While the party does not have an executive body in Rajasthan, there is speculation that Kejriwal will be declared the state president of Rajasthan after the public meeting. Additionally, appointments to other important posts of the state executive may also be announced.
Traffic Diversions and Publicity
To ensure the smooth conduct of the Tiranga Yatra, the traffic route in Jaipur was changed. Normal traffic from Sanganeri Gate to Bapu Bazar, New Gate, Nehru Bazar, and Ajmeri Gate was suspended. Buses for the program were parked in the service lane from the back gate of Ramnivas to Trimurti Circle.
The Aam Aadmi Party’s Tiranga Yatra in Jaipur garnered significant public attention, with supporters from various districts of Rajasthan joining in. The party’s message of positive politics, education, and healthcare resonated with the people, making it an event to remember.
