XBB was first accessed in India in August. According to virologist Andrew Pekoz of Johns Hopkins University, “The XBB.1.5 variant has an additional mutation that better binds it to body homogeneity. Viruses need a binding to body homogeneity so that they Easily spread the infection by going inside.
