Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathan has broken the earning record of KGF 2 on the 13th day of its release. Last year, when the Hindi dubbed version of Kannada superstar Yash’s film KGF 2 earned Rs 434.70 crore, no one thought that this record would be broken so soon. Pathan has beaten KGF 2 by earning 437 crores. Now Shah Rukh Khan’s eyes are fixed on the record of Telugu superstar Prabhas’ superhit film Bahubali 2. The Hindi dubbed version of Bahubali 2 released in 2017 earned 511 crores.
Shah Rukh Khan’s film had a great opening. The film has done a business of around 55 crores at the Indian box office on the very first day. The film crossed the 100 crore mark even before the end of its first weekend. The second weekend of Shahrukh-Deepika’s film ‘Pathan’ was also spectacular and by the second weekend itself, the film has joined the club of 400 crores.
Pathan crossed 800 crores
Pathan’s echo is heard not only in India, but all over the world. Like Indian box office, Pathan’s sting is ringing in foreign countries too. According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, Pathan’s worldwide gross collection has been around Rs 850 crore. Touching the figure of Rs 850 crore in just 12 days is a big success for Pathan film.
Earlier Aamir’s Dangal was the biggest film of Hindi cinema collecting Rs 387 crores at the Indian box office, but now Shahrukh Khan’s Pathan has beaten Aamir’s Dangal in terms of earnings and now Pathan is dominating the Indian box office. But has become the highest grossing top Hindi film. The film has earned around Rs 430 crores at the Indian box office and is still continuing to earn.
However, after the brilliant performance of Pathan, the excitement among King Khan fans about his next film Jawan has increased a lot. Releasing in the month of June, this film is being directed by well-known Tamil film director Atlee. Earlier, Atlee has given hits like Theri, Marshall and Bigil with Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay.
