The footsteps of the Australian cricket team have fallen in India. Everyone is in this team that reached India under the leadership of Pat Cummins but Usman Khawaja is not there. Khawaja has been isolated from the Australian team. This has happened not because of any debate, but because of visa. Khawaja, who won the Shane Warne Test Cricketer of the Year award, has not got a visa to tour India. And, this is the reason why he could not come to India with his team.
Australian players who reached India boarded the flight to India on Tuesday. He took a flight to India from there after attending the award ceremony in Sydney. Usman Khawaja was seen with his team during the award ceremony but according to the news, he did not board the flight that Pat Cummins and Co. took to India.

Khwaja will catch flight to India on Thursday
Cricket Australia gave an update on Khawaja in conversation with Wide World of Sports. The Australian board told that Khwaja’s visa was not cleared. He will now be able to fly on Thursday for the tour of India. This means that he will not be a part of the training session of the Australian team to be held on Thursday. However, it will neither affect his nor the Australian team’s health.
India-Australia first Test from 9 February
The first Test match between India and Australia is to be played in Nagpur from 9 February. Even though Khawaja has not played any test in India till now. But, after the way he has scored 1080 runs at an average of 67.50 last year, he is an important link in his team’s batting order.
