Dhirendra was born in 1996 in Gadaganj village of Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh) district. His entire family still lives in Gadaganj. Pt. Dhirendra Shastri’s grandfather Pt. Bhagwan Das Garg was also the priest of this temple. It is said that Pt. Dhirendra’s childhood was spent in a lot of difficulty. When he was young, the economic condition of the family was so bad that only one meal was available. Pt. Dhirendra Shastri’s father’s name is Ramkripal Garg and mother’s name is Saroj Garg. Dhirendra’s younger brother is Shaligram Gargji Maharaj.
That too is dedicated to Balaji Bageshwar Dham. According to media reports, Pt. Dhirendra Shastri started worshiping at Balaji Bageshwar Dham from the age of 11 itself. Pt. Dhirendra Shastri’s grandfather had taken initiation from the Nirmohi Akhara of Chitrakoot. After this he had reached Gadaganj.
Bageshwar Dham Sarkar does not drink tea in cups. They use a coconut vessel to drink tea. This vessel of coconut has a big connection with the Bageshwar government. Wherever Baba goes, he keeps this coconut vessel with him. It is said that this coconut vessel was given to him as Prasad by his Guru.
Bageshwar Dham Pramukh Pt. Dhirendra Shastri always carries a small mace. He says that this keeps him getting the powers of Hanuman ji. He also inspires people to worship Hanuman ji. Pt. Dhirendra Shastri says that he does not perform any kind of miracle. They only put people’s applications in front of Balaji Hanumanji. Which Balaji accepts. This benefits the common people. Even after the controversy of superstition came to the fore, Pt. Dhirendra Shastri presented an explanation. He said that he does not invite anyone in his court. People come of their own free will. He only puts the applications of the people in front of God. Everything else happens from the side of God.
Dhirendra Krishna Shastri considers his grandfather as his guru. He had learned Ramkatha from his grandfather only. Bageshwar Sarkar started going to the temple of Bageshwar Balaji from the age of 9. Bageshwar Sarkar eats only fruits for breakfast every day. He has no routine routine due to busy schedule. It is said about his food that he likes simple food. Bageshwar Sarkar holds divine court every Tuesday and Saturday like his grandfather. During this, he reads the mind of the people and tells the solution to the people. Due to this miracle of Baba, Bageshwar Dham Sarkar has become famous in the country and the world in a short time.
