Suryakumar Yadav spoke openly about his 360 degree technology in an interview to PTI. He told how he can easily hit shots all around the ground. He has a strong hold especially in the square leg site.
When Surya was asked if you can tell us something about your 360 degree technology? In response to this question, he said that ‘this is an interesting story’. During my school and college days, I played a lot of cricket with a rubber ball. On hard cement pitches and on rainy days, the ball used to come fast from a distance of 15 yards, at that time if the leg side boundary was 95 yards, then the distance of the off side was only 25 to 30 yards.
Surya further said that ‘Most of the bowlers used to bowl by targeting my body to save the off-side boundary, in such a situation I learned to use wrist, pull and upper cut, the special thing is that Surya did this. Never practiced such shots in the nets.
