The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently released the notification for SSC CGL Exam 2023. The commission aims to recruit 7500 candidates for Group B and Group C posts across the country. The commission will conduct the Tier 1 CBT exam in July 2023.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university to be eligible for the exam. The age limit for the exam varies from 18 to 27 years for some posts, while for others it is 18 to 30 years. Candidates belonging to the OBC category will receive a 3-year relaxation in the maximum age limit, while candidates from SC and ST categories will receive a relaxation of 5 years.
Salary Details
Candidates who get selected for the post will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 25,500 to 1,51,100.
Application Process and Fee
Interested candidates can apply for the exam by visiting the official website and registering themselves by entering the required details. They can then upload their documents and pay the application fee of Rs. 100 (except for women candidates and those belonging to SC/ST/PwD and Ex-Servicemen categories eligible for reservation). Candidates can also make corrections in their online application from May 7 to 8.
Selection Process
The commission will conduct a Tier 1 CBT exam, and successful candidates will appear for the Tier 2 exam. The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in both the exams.
