Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Hira Ben Modi passed away on Friday morning at the age of 100. Heera Ba breathed her last at the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Center in Ahmedabad. PM Modi informed about the death of his mother Heera Ba through a tweet. He wrote, “A glorious century rests at the feet of the Lord… In Maa I have always felt that trinity, which includes the journey of an ascetic, the epitome of a selfless Karmayogi and a life devoted to values.”
Please tell that Heeraben was undergoing treatment in a hospital in Ahmedabad. On Thursday itself, information was given by the Gujarat government that his condition is continuously improving, he can be discharged in a day or two. PM Modi had also reached UN Mehta Hospital in Ahmedabad to inquire about the health of his mother, where Hira Ben was admitted.
According to sources – he was admitted to the hospital due to difficulty in breathing and high blood pressure. Significantly, PM Modi’s mother Heeraben lived with Prime Minister Modi’s younger brother Pankaj Modi in Raisan village near Gandhinagar city. The Prime Minister regularly visited Raison and spent time with her mother during most of his visits to Gujarat.
