The Indian Army will induct ‘animal cyborg’ running with ‘remote control’ in the force. During military operations, the army will use these rats to locate the enemy’s position even before the enemy attacks. The Asymmetric Technology Lab of the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is working on Animal Cyborg.
In this technique, an electronic device is installed by operating a live animal. Thus work is done by increasing the required forces by a certain amount. It is called Animal Cyborg. Animal cyborgs have been used in military research, relief, and treatment. However, some activists have also raised concerns over the use of animal cyborgs. They claim that this can cause the animal to suffer or lose its natural abilities.
The first phase of this project in India has been completed. In this step, electrodes are placed on the body of the rats to control their movements. Now some light work will be taken from them. They can also be offered on mountains. Its purpose is that the animal should not face any kind of trouble and work should also be done. Although DRDO experts say that this surgery will cause some trouble to the animals.
According to experts, this technique sends signals to the animal’s brain. This makes them turn, then move and stop. This technique is implanted in the nervous system of animals, in which they do not have any problem.
Rat Cyborg can be used in the event of a terrorist attack like 26/11. Such attacks require massive manhunts, then Rat Cyborg can show his potential. According to scientists, Rat Cyborg can enter any building by climbing on the walls and send pictures inside. Rats can pass through narrow streets and send details of every place where terrorists are present.
Rats have considerable stamina for such tasks. Special attention will be paid to Rat Cyborg’s diet to keep him fit to help in difficult situations.
