Indian Space Agency ISRO has issued a big alert regarding Joshimath. According to ISRO’s alert, Joshimath has sunk 5.4 cm in 12 days. ISRO has also released satellite images. Joshimath has come down by 5.4 cm. Whereas between April-November 2022, 9 cm subsidence was recorded in Joshimath.
It is being told that the biggest danger in Joshimath is in Army Helipad, Narsingh Temple and Central Joshimath. On the other hand, in Joshimath, rain-snowfall, land subsidence and mild tremors of earthquake have increased the difficulties of the people. People are troubled by this triple attack of nature.

Signs of earthquake were also felt in Uttarakhand last night. Signal earthquake at 2:12 last night. The intensity of the earthquake on the Richter scale was 2.9. The epicenter of the earthquake was just 250 km away from Joshimath. However, after the land subsidence in Joshimath, scientists are still reading cracks in houses and roads. On ISRO’s report, the DM of Joshimath said that the team of scientists is studying. We are continuously working on the policy to save Joshimath. Drainage system will be repaired soon. We are also considering permanent rehabilitation of some of those responsible. The news of relief from Joshimath is that the water connectivity near JP has reduced considerably. The cracking has also reduced in the last 2-3 days. This is good news for Joshimath.
