Under the leadership of Shefali Verma, the Indian team has won the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup. India created history by defeating England by 7 wickets in the final on Sunday.
Let us tell you that this was the first edition of the Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup, in which India became the champion. The tournament was organized in South Africa. The title match was played in Potchefstroom. India got a target of just 69 runs, which the team achieved easily by losing 3 wickets in 14 overs.
