There is a famous saying in India which you too must have heard sometime or the other. The enemy of the enemy should be made a friend. The Government and Prime Minister Modi have decided to adopt the same method in the Parliament as well, so India has made Turkey’s enemy country Greece its friend.
Turkey and Pakistan Relations
Since the partition of India-Pakistan in 1947, Turkey considered Pakistan as its friend. The main reason for this was the establishment of both the countries in the name of Islam.
Pakistan and Turkey have been strengthening mutual relations very fast for the last few decades. It has further increased after Erdogan came to power in Turkey. Both the countries are doing many maneuvers every year in water-land and sky. Apart from this, Pakistan has also bought a frigate from Turkey for the Navy, whose delivery has also started. Pakistan and Turkey have recently finalized a deal for attack helicopters. Apart from this, Turkey’s Baykarbayraktar TB-2 drone has also been seen at the forward base of Pakistan Air Force. Pakistan has also emerged as a big market for Turkey. Both countries are also supporting each other on religious grounds. Turkey tried to put a gun on Pakistan’s shoulder to become the leader of the Islamic world, but this plan could not succeed due to the anger of Saudi Arabia.
On the margins of today’s event on Greece – India friendship, organised by SG for Greeks Abroad & Public Diplomacy, I met with #India Minister of State for External Affairs & Culture, @M_Lekhi

Turkey and Pakistan together formed the Kashmir Committee.
Turkish lawmakers from the ruling party have decided to form a Kashmir committee and present a resolution on Kashmir on the lines of Pakistan in the Turkish Parliament. Barrister Sultan Mahmud Chaudhry, the President of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, proposed to Turkish parliamentarians the establishment of a Kashmir Committee. The meeting was attended by Turkey’s Member of Parliament and AK Party Vice Chairman and Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Efkan Ala, and others. On this occasion, Barrister Chaudhary said…
“We are grateful to Turkey’s ruling party, especially Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, for openly supporting the Kashmir issue”. He hoped that the Turkish government would intensify its efforts to raise its voice in favor of the Kashmiri people at every important forum. Let us tell you that Turkish President Rajab Tayyab is trying to hatch a conspiracy under this plan. First, he sees the Turkish president as the leader of the Sunni world. And the second reason – Turkey aspires to become the leader not only of the Middle East, but of all Muslim countries.
Now the relations between Greece and India: –
External Affairs Minister will be in Greece for two days from January 30 to January 31, 2023. During her brief visit to the country, the minister will participate in a yoga program besides addressing the strong Indian community. Further strengthening of bilateral ties and other matters of mutual interest will be discussed between the two sides during the high-level visit.
“During the visit, the MOS will hold discussions with the Greek Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Culture. The MOS will also interact with a cross-section of the Indian community, friends of India, academicians and Indologists. She will participate in a special yoga program as part of ‘Amrit Mahotsav of Freedom’ celebrations and pay floral tributes at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Athens. The meeting between India and Greece is strengthening the relationship between the two countries, but it is making Pakistan jealous, that is for sure.
