Manish Sisodia arrested in excise policy scam
Manish Sisodia is second in the Aam Aadmi Party. His number in Delhi government is also after Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Sisodia had the responsibility of 18 ministries at this time. These include most of the major departments of the government such as Finance, PWD, Electricity, Water, Health, Education, Home, Vigilance, Planning, Services, Tourism, Urban Development. Sisodia also had the responsibility of the Excise Department. ED and CBI teams are questioning him in Delhi’s liquor policy scam case. A case was registered in this matter on August 17 last year.
Manish Sisodia on five days remand
Rouse Avenue Court has sent Manish Sisodia on five days remand. Now Sisodia will be on CBI remand till March 4. The CBI team told the court that Sisodia was yet to be questioned in the excise scam and detailed information was required in the matter. For all this he needed five days remand and the decision also came in his favor.
Sanjay Singh attacked the central government
In protest against the detention of Sisodia, AAP MP Sanjay Singh attacked the central government and said that the Modi government is doing the work of Adani. Adani did a scam of lakhs of crores but CBI and ED did not take any action against him. Modi government gave everything from heaven to hell to Adani. To divert the attention of people from this issue, BJP deliberately got Sisodia arrested. His arrest is a political conspiracy.
He said that our party has emerged from a movement. CBI and ED did not find anything in the investigation from Sisodia’s house and office. There is no evidence against him for this. Our government has become a bone in the neck of the Center.
